There is also a public swimming pool in a nearby village if the heat becomes too much! The casita has its own courtyard with dining table and chairs enabling you to enjoy meals alfresco and to savour a cool glass of wine in the balmy evening air.
There are many ways to explore the lovely Lecrin Valley
Cyclists/Mountain Bikers are discovering the area as being a challenging and exciting terrain which offers many different grades of cycling/mountain biking.
Walkers/Hikers will discover many breathtaking walks from the front door of the casita varying in grade from short and easy to the more challenging and longer GR7 which runs up behind the casita.
Birdwatchers can see a variety of birds both local and migratory throughout the year.
Nature Lovers are provided with an abundance of flaura and fauna as the village is set on the edge of the River Santo which flows all year round.
Skiers (in the winter season) can get to the Sierra Nevada's in under an hour, plenty of time for a full days skiing. By staying out of Granada you will pay less for you accommodation and have more money for your ski-ing!
Horse Riding is available throughout the region as many local stables offer rides and trekking over country and the coast.
